AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) — 6% (Pro only)

Method: weighted ratio.

Checks: direct-answer format, featured-snippet readiness, “People Also Ask” coverage, voice-search friendliness, Q&A structure, Knowledge Panel eligibility signals, passage-indexing friendliness, zero-click optimisation.

The scoring method used:

2. Weighted ratio (scoreCategoryByRatio) — used for AI SEO, GEO, AEO, LLMO (20+ checks each, where deduction-stacking would unfairly crash the score to 0):

score = round( earned_points / possible_points × 100 )

Each check is worth points by severity (Critical=4, High=3, Medium=2, Low=1); passed checks earn their points, failed checks earn zero. Floored at 5 (never shows a misleading 0), capped at 100. A category with zero checks defaults to a neutral 50.
