Checks:
- HTTPS enabled
- HTTP→HTTPS redirect
- robots.txt present/valid (and not blocking all crawlers)
- sitemap.xml discovery + size
- canonical tag presence and self-reference correctness
- redirect chain length
- broken external link sampling (up to 15 links), mixed content
- `noindex` detection.
